Utah Lake

Utah Lake is a large freshwater lake just 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City. The lake is quite shallow, making the water warm and great for water sports. There are several beaches, campgrounds and day-use areas available around the lake.

The park is adjacent to Provo City, making it convenient for day trips. The Provo River, which feeds the lake, is popular for canoeing and SUP alike.

 

Location

Located west of Provo, about 48 miles south of Salt Lake City.

From I-15 in Provo, take Exit 265 (Center Street exit) and follow Center Street west to the park.

Open year-round

Summer - 6 am to 10:00 pm

Winter - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day

Entrance Fees

Day use is $9 per vehicle, including use of boat ramps

$5 per vehicle with a Utah senior 62+

$2 per person / bicycle

$75 Annual Pass is available at the park

$35 Utah Senior Adventure (annual) Pass
